Houston Interior Decorator Picks Austin for Expansion

AUSTIN-High Fashion Decorative Fabrics has set up shop in a 28,000-sf leased building in the city's eastern corridor. The high-end fashion business has inked a three-year lease, picking the state capital for its first Central Texas location.

High Fashion Decorative Fabrics has its flagship showroom at 3000 Louisiana in Houston. The three-year-old company specializes in fabrics and decorative accessories from the Far East, Europe and South Africa.

The Austin showroom is at 1122 E. 51st St. that is owned by the Barfam Trust. Sue Gravett, a broker with Henry S. Miller Commercial's Austin office, says the tenant has inked a three-year lease for the entire building.
