Knitting Firm Moving to Suburbs

CHARLOTTE-Textrum Weaving Inc. purchased a 42,000-sf building in Belmont, NC from Swag-Nit Inc. for $735,000 or $17.50 per sf. Swag-Nit is relocating out of the state.

Textrum will move from 16,000 sf of leased space in Charlotte Corporate Center and plans to occupy the new space by March or April.

Lane Holbert, a senior industrial specialist at Grubb & Ellis/Bissell Patrick in Charlotte, negotiated for the seller. Scott Hensley, a broker with Piedmont Properties of the Carolinas Inc., represented the buyer.
