The Barton Creek space is close to its former headquarters location, a 25,000-sf spot at 2700 Via Fortuna in The Terrace office project. With the larger space comes a plan to hire more employees. The company now has 110 workers, but plans to bring up to another 70 on board, an inside source has told GlobeSt.com. The move also brings an office consolidation for the company.
SigmaTel is an audio chip manufacturer for the semiconductor industry. Its backing includes the likes of Invesco Private Capital, Battery Ventures, TeleSoft Partners and CTI SigmaTel.
