The facility will provide customers with hosting, network and content delivery services. The center is currently at 50% capacity with customers in the area including the Federal Election Committee, The Gale Group, Sales.com, Siebel Systems, Thompson Financial and Ziff-Davis.
Digital's centers are maintained by personnel around the clock and contain backup and disaster recovery systems. The data center here increases the capacity of the company's integrated network. Digital Island's other centers are located in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Honolulu, London, Los Angeles, New York, San Jose and Tokyo.
