Wireless Internet Company Preparing for Next Technology Generation

SAN DIEGO-A company involved in designing infrastructure for the coming wireless Internet revolution has leased 38,018 sf at Pacific Corporate Center.

Vayusphere has signed a seven-year lease, valued at $5.4 million, for research and development space in the center at 10350 Barnes Canyon Rd. owned by Los Angeles-based Kilroy Realty Corp.

Experts predict that by year-end 2002, the potential number of Internet subscribers using wireless devices worldwide may exceed the number of subscribers using a variety of wired devices. Vayusphere was founded to aggressively build the infrastructure for this next generation of users.
