Wood, who had served as senior vice president and chief operating officer, now has responsibility for day-to-day operations and for the financial performance of the trust's shopping center and main street properties. In addition to Guttman's increased involvement in Federal Realty's Santana Row mixed-use development in San Jose, CA, he will continue in his capacity as chief executive officer.
The trust's senior executive team will remain comprised of Guttman, Wood and senior vice president and chief investment officer Ron D. Kaplan. Both Wood and Kaplan will continue to report to Guttman.
