Cobb Galleria Centre Expands to 144,000 SF

ATLANTA-The $22.7 million, 36,000-sf exhibit hall addition is being funded by revenue bonds issued by the county in fourth quarter 1999. The center is 15 miles northwest of Downtown.

The first expansion phase began last fall and includes a five-story, 650-vehicle parking deck and an underground pedestrian tunnel to connect the deck with the main facility.

Both phases are expected to be completed by early December. Cobb Galleria Centre is betting its expanded space will attract larger events.
