Local Developer Plans Big Mixed-Use Project

ORANGE COUNTY, CA-The Burnett Cos. of Newport Beach hopes to get government OK for 31-acre development in Rancho Cucamonga.

The developer is privately held Burnett Cos. Its proposed Rancho Cucamonga Town Square would be built in the heart of the town's commercial center.

Plans submitted to Rancho Cucamonga officials call for more than 300 apartments, 24 lofts, a specialty market and a five-story office facility. The project would also include an open-air shopping area, a day-care center and a new park.
