The upscale retail property, slated to open this fall, is the focal point of a mixed-use development being done by principals of Denholtz Associates, Rahway, NJ and The Zaro Group, Ocean Twp., NJ (see earlier stories). Old Navy, The Gap, Gap Kids and Gap Body are also said to have given verbals.

Other project components include 70,000 sf of class A office space, an assisted living facility and a nursing home. Meridian Health Systems is building the latter two facilities, and has taken 22,000 sf of the office space in a transaction arranged by R.J. Brunelli & Co., Old Bridge, NJ.

The Brunelli organization also arranged all of the retail leases to date. The company has the exclusive for both the retail and office components.
