Broker Posts $57.5 Mil on 12 Contracts in Single Week

MIAMI-Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell Inc. Realtors is picking up right where it ended last year on news one of its brokers just set a new internal single-week sales record. Audrey Ross, the company’s senior vice president and a shareholder, wrote 57.5 million in new sales contracts for the week ended Feb. 13. Her volume equates to about $4.8 million per sale on 12 contracts. The firm as a whole wrote an estimated $114 million that week.

The prior individual weekly record stood at about $30 million for several years, Ron Shuffield, Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell president, tells GlobeSt.com.

“To put it in perspective, when we purchased EWM in 1984, the company recorded $55 million in sales for that entire year,” Shuffield says. “As a whole, there are only a handful of individuals in the US who sell more than $50 million a year, making Audrey’s one-week total all the more extraordinary.”
