Park Plaza, located at 310/340 Third Ave., won an "Orchid Award" in 1986 for its "European Village"-style architecture. It is the cornerstone of the redevelopment plan for the city's effort to recreate a 1900s European village atmosphere.
The buyer was EAS LLC, with Susan Smiser as the managing partner. The seller was Third Avenue Investments LLC, with Terra Enterprises as the managing partner. Stan Tomer and Pat Kane of CB Richard Ellis' San Diego Central office represented the buyer and seller in the transaction.
