Dennis Visser and Joe Anderson of Business Real Estate Commercial/NAI's north county office represented the seller. Dave Worden of WindwardCommercial in Half Moon Bay, CA represented the buyer.
Carlsbad's R&D vacancy rate has dropped from 18% a year ago to only 8% at the close of the deal. The Carlsbad market is anticipating continued rent growth this year, as very little new product is under construction in the area, according to Visser and Anderson.
