The buyer is Hacor Inc., a subsidiary of Korean conglomerate Hanjin. The tilt-up warehouse, which includes about 25,000 sf of office space, stands on a 2.25-acre parcel at 8506 Osage Ave.
Hacor, which provides the in-flight meals served on Korean Air and some other carriers, plans to convert the building into a giant kitchen. It plans to move about 150 workers into the building this summer, after the conversion is complete.
Klabin Co. brokers Harvey Beeson and Ken Simpson represented Hacor in the transaction. Beeson and another Klabin Co. colleague, Jim Sullivan, also represented the private investment group that sold the property.
