Construction Begins on Westport Wild Oats Community Market

KANSAS CITY-A new 25,000-sf store in the heart of the Westport entertainment and shopping district, five times larger than its previous location a mile away, is scheduled to open in November.

KANSAS CITY-Constrution is underway on the new Wild Oats Community Market. The store will be moving from its current location at 43rd and Main streets about a mile west to 535 Westport Road in the heart of the Westport entertainment and shopping district.

The new store will encompass nearly 25,000 sf and be five times larger than the previous location. Wild Oats, a natural food store, will carry its traditional inventory of food items, as well as add a food court area, a community room with fireplace, fresh juice bar, deli and grill for made-to-order pizzas.
