The four-mile-long, six-lane roadway runs north from I-275 and Eureka Road right up to the 2-million-sf Midfield Terminal. When completed, the road will allow motorists to access the airport from two major interstate freeways -- I-94 and I-275. The link will definitely benefit the office and industrial development that is booming along the I-275 corridor, McNamara said.
