Four New Planning Commission Members for East Bay

OAKLAND, CA-Mayor Jerry Brown appointed four new commissioners and reappointed architect Glen Jarvis to the planning department last week. Kenneth Katzoff, Clinton Killian, Colland Jang and Viola Gonzales were sworn in this week during the city council meeting.

Katzoff, an attorney, replaces Vincent Reyes; Killian, an attorney and former AC Transit director, assumed the role vacated by Les Hausrath; Jang takes Frazier Scurry-Scott’s seat and Gonzales replaces Anthony Batarse.

Katzoff, a graduate of the University of San Francisco law school, founded the Berkeley law firm Katzoff and Riggs in 1983. He specializes in litigation of construction defect and designer liability.
