Sarasota Developer Pays $4.71 per SF for Prime Tourist-Corridor Dirt

ORLANDO-Sarasota-based Floriday Development Co. paid Nerbonne NV, an offshore trust, $4.12 million or $205,224 per acre for a 20.1-acre parcel on south International Drive where it plans to develop a 300-unit condominium hotel.

Developer Angus Rogers plans to break ground in the third quarter on a 300-unit condominium hotel. "With Marriott, Vistana and Hilton developing thousands of timeshare units in the immediate area, this site is a perfect location for our condo-resort project," Rogers tells GlobeSt.com.

Fugelberg Koch of Winter Park is the architect. Susan Morris Sr., vice president of Colliers Arnold/Orlando, represented the seller. Rogers negotiated for his company.
