Applied Micro Circuits Corporation Purchases Land in Poway For $17.1 Mil

POWAY, CA-Applied Micro Circuits Corp. has purchased a 31.66-acre site in the fourth phase of the Poway Corporate Center for $17.1 million.

AMCC manufactures high-bandwidth silicon connectivity products used in optical networks. The San Diego-based company has 1,025 employees worldwide.

The seller in the transaction was Tech Business Center LLC. Ted Cuthbert, Brent Wright and Rick Sparks of CB Richard Ellis' San Diego Central office represented the seller, Tech Business Center LLC, in the transaction.

Dave Marino of The Irving Hughes Group represented AMCC in the transaction.
