The Staubach Co. has hired Louis G. Erskine as senior vice president of business development for its management services, a division dedicated to property and facility management. He is being tasked with the division's growth, development and implementation of the strategies. Erskine, a 17-year veteran of the industry, previously had been employed as manager of real estate services at Archon Group, a real estate subsidiary of Goldman Sachs and vice president and director of property services for Ares Inc., a real estate subsidiary of Mutual of New York.

Henry S. Miller Commercial has named Dan Shoevlin to an executive vice presidency in the retail division. Shoevlin has been with the Dallas-based firm since 1993, consistently leading the firm's statewide numbers as the top commercial-retail producer. This year, he has held the sixth top-producing slot for Henry S. Miller Commercial.

At Cousins Stone, Matthew Schendle has been hired as a leasing associate. He will assist in the marketing and leasing of the firm's 5.1-million sf, class-A office properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, focusing particularly on 1700 Pacific, The Points at Waterview and The Towers at Williams Square. He previously had been senior associate at Stream Realty Partners.

Linda Ghaffari recently has started as vice president of asset management for Irving-based FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. She will be responsible for overseeing part of the Holiday-branded hotel portfolio. Ghaffari has more than 18 years' experience in the hotel industry. She previously had been operations director for Bass Hotels & Resorts Inc.
