Klatskin Hooks Up with Worldwide Binswanger/CBB Organization

TETERBORO, NJ-The Binswanger Co., a Philadelphia-based real estate firm that dates back to the Great Depression, has long dominated the brokerage business in Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Eight years ago, the company hooked up with Chesterton of the UK and Germany’s Blumenauer to form CBB, a far-flung real estate operation with 160 offices and well over 5,000 employees around the world.

Now, the Charles Klatskin Co., a commercial brokerage firm, based here, which has dominated the industrial market in the northern part of New Jersey for years, has signed on to the network. The partnership will be known as Binswanger/Klatskin, and it will be based here while maintaining a second office in Edison, NJ.

“Commercial real estate firms have to be able to provide a national and international reach,” Charles Klatskin, chairman/CEO of Binswanger/Klatskin tells GlobeSt.com. “This new joint venture will provide us with a unique platform in this marketplace.”
