Now, the building has changed hands again, and Kasparian is part of the venture that bought the 175,000-sf class A structure for $22.1 million. S. Hekemian Caspar teamed with North Brunswick, NJ-based Bergman Real Estate Group to acquire it from CS First Boston/Praedium Group. Bergman arranged the acquisition four years ago on behalf of Praedium, and has been managing the fully-leased property ever since.
"Jerry [Bergman] made the overture that we consider the acquisition as a team, and we're glad we did," according to Kasparian. "We knew the building 'up close and personal,' and that first class space is still a precious commodity in this market."
Andrew Merin and Gary Gabriel of Cushman & Wakefield, East Rutherford, NJ, arranged the latest sale on behalf of the seller.
