Aries Capital is a member of Bankers Capital Group, one of the largest originators of commercial mortgages in the United States. The 10-year-old firm began as a multifamily conduit lender, moving into shopping centers and retail properties in 1995 and hotel properties the following year. It expanded into office and industrial properties in 1997.
Also, executive vice president Robin J. Cero has been elected to the O'Neil Industries Inc. board of directors. Her election makes her the first woman director in the company's 75-year history.
