Indian Springs Draws More Non-Retail Tenants

KANSAS CITY, KS-What once was the shopping center to serve Kansas City, KS as well as the western parts of the Northland, the Indian Springs Marketplace is now coming much closer to becoming a non-retail center. The center’s leasing company, Fishman & Co., recently signed two digital printing companies as tenants.

The newest tenants are Western Blue Print LLC, which will lease about 30,000 sf and Mortran Digital, which will lease about half of Western’s space. The moves are expected to be completed by mid April.

Space previously occupied by retail tenants, such as Montgomery Ward, which moved out last month, has been consistently leased to non-retail parties in the past few years. Some of the agencies to occupy space in the mall include the Kansas City, KS Community Policing Unit, the US Postal Service and the Neighborhood Resource Center.
