In the first deal, Scheer, Tanaka, Dennehy, Riley Architects purchased an 8,000-sf office building located at 3190-K Airport Loop from Airport Loop Investors for $1.132 million. The new space will accommodate expansion by company, which specializes in health club/restaurant architectural business.

Chuck Hardy of Lee & Associates-Orange Inc. represented the buyer, while Dan Curtis of Curtis & Associates in Mission Viejo represented the seller in the transaction.

In the second deal, Stephen and Georgetta Platt of Arthur Murray Dance Studios purchased a 5,100-sf, single-story office building located at 1640 Adams from C.J. Segerstrom & Sons. The Platts plan to open a new studio in the facility this summer. The value of this deal was not disclosed; however, an industry expert estimates the selling price in excess of $500,000, based on average cost per sf for office space in that neighborhood

Brad Rawlins and Allen Basso of Lee Associates' Newport Beach office represented the seller, while Dana Davis of Swartz Commercial Real Estate in Irvine represented the buyer in the transaction.
