Comcast Lease Brings Business Park To 90% Occupancy

BALTIMORE, MD-A lease recently signed by Comcast for 45,240 sf brings MIE’s I-97 Business Park up to 90% occupancy. The 400,000 sf business park is located at Nojales Road and Benfield Boulevard in Millersville, MD. The lease follows the acquisition by Comcast of Jones Cable. Comcast plans to consolidate a number of Jones Cable offices in the Baltimore area into a single Anne Arundel facility.

MIE, founded in 1971, has developed roughly 8.5 million sf in the Baltimore area, along with projects in Colorado and Wisconsin. The company specializes in flex space to meet the demands of high technology companies because they allow expansion within MIE’s portfolio. The firm’s office parks surround Baltimore-Washington International Airport and the Baltimore Beltway in more than 30 business park locations, serving more than 1,200 tenants.
