Legg Mason Arranges $4.7 Mil in Financing

ALBANY, NY-Legg Mason Real Estate Services has arranged two mortgage loans in Albany and in the Rochester area totaling $4.7 million in financing. One property is industrial and the second is retail.

ALBANY, NY-In deals involving industrial real estate and financing for a Staples store, Legg Mason Real Estate Services has recently arranged mortgage loans in New York State valued at nearly $5 million. The first deal was for an industrial park and the second for a Staples store.

The firm’s Albany regional office arranged a $3.15 million first mortgage loan for Access Park, an 80,00 sf industrial park located at 2,4,6 and 8 Access Road and 73 Karner Road in Albany. Through its relationship with Berkshire Life Insurance Company, Legg Mason arranged financing for borrower Schuyler Real Estate. Financing was based on a 25-year term, with a 25-year amortization schedule.
