Plano, TX-based EDS will take its space in a 122,000-sf building where monthly office rents have been running about $1.30 sf/mo. The developing 386-acre business park, situated on the historic Greenwood Ranch, is being developed into a multi-use park that will contain the full variety of industrial and office space as well as a retail complex over the next decade.

The EDS lease includes an expansion option. EDS contacted Gateway for local space when moving the bulk of its western regional headquarters from the Napa Valley Corporate Center to Sacramento. Other high tech companies at Gateway include Internet solutions provider Verio and semiconductor component manufacturer A.P. Technology. EDS reported about $19.2 billion in revenues in 2000 and employs about 115,000 people at various locations.
