Telecom Provider Takes 30,000 SF in Expansion

NEWARK-The telecommunications hotel concept is alive and thriving in the tri-state area, especially in New Jersey’s largest city, where JEMB Realty’s New Jersey Telecom Exchange is one of several such specialized facilities. McLeod USA liked its relationship with JEMB so much (the company occupies space at the owner’s New York Telecom Exchange @ 75 Broad St. in Downtown Manhattan) that it opted to take 30,000 sf at the Newark facility as part of its ongoing metro area expansion.

McLeod USA is a telecom provider offering long-distance, advanced data and Internet services through a network of transmitting integrated data, Internet and voice. The New Jersey Telecom Exchange is located at 1170 Broad St. and McCarter Highway in this city’s CBD. JEMB, through its Tornado Telecom & Technology division, has telecommunications projects operating or in the works in New York, Newark, Atlanta and Scottsdale, AZ.
