Three Oakland County Commissioners Appointed to MAC

DETROIT-Fran Amos will serve on the economic development and labor panel of the Michigan Association of Counties Committees. He is joined on the MAC by Michelle Friedman Appel and Eric Coleman.

DETROIT-Three members of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners have beenappointed to serve on the Michigan Association of Counties Committees (MAC), which impacts state legislation. The commissioners selected to represent Oakland County are Fran Amos, (R-Waterford Township and West Bloomfield Township), Michelle Friedman Appel (D-Huntington Woods, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak and Southfield) and Eric Coleman, (D-Southfield, Oak Park and Royal Oak Township).

After thorough analysis, each committee will make recommendations that will assist in developing MAC’s statewide platforms. Commissioner and board vice chair Fran Amos, was appointed to the economic development and labor committee.
