Seventy of the apartment homes serve those with an independent lifestyle, while the other 30 offer a more comprehensive selection of custom living services. The community features a "main street" which includes a café, store, barbershop, library, chapel and more on site.
Other Michigan Independence communities are in Frankenmuth, Midland, Petosky, Plymouth, Grand Ledge and White Lake. Properties in Oxford, MI and Avon Lake, OH are under development.
