The firm will use the space, previously vacant, to store raw materials for its operation, David R. Dunn, Henry S. Miller Commercial's manager of the Arlington office, tells GlobeSt.com. Donruss plans an April 1 move-in to 2008 Exchange Dr. He says the move is not a space expansion for the sports card manufacturer.
Dunn and Henry S. Miller's Larry G. Rodgers have represented the building owner, Proterra Properties Inc., in the long-term lease for the holding in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. The deal has been co-brokered by Proterra's Dan Lawson.
Mark Hajdu, senior vice president of Henry S. Miller Commercial's retail division, has completed an 8.5-acre sale to the Kashish Corp., also in Plano. The firm plans to break ground in 90 to 120 days on a retail development, GlobeSt.com has been told.
Hajdu has represented the buyer and the seller, Plano ARS LP, in the transaction. The property is located at the southwest corner of Cockrell Hill and Texas 67 in a high-retail corridor for the submarket. The acreage, which has sold for about $2.50 per sf, will be used for a service station-convenience store combination and complementary retail.
In another Henry S. Miller Commercial lease, All About Quilts has leased 6,938 sf at Ruisseau Village Shopping Center in Plano. Peter Kosley, senior vice president, and Collin Berg of the retail division have acted on behalf of the property owner, I.D. Enterprises Inc. and the tenant.
