"We are thrilled to establish a relationship with Mack on our sixth building in the [Baltimore-Washington] corridor," he says. "This building's exceptional location at Interstate 95 and Route 100 will afford Mack outstanding exposure and access to Interstate 95, allowing them to efficiently fulfill their global distribution network."
The facility will feature a 32-foot clearance height, flow-through docking capability, tilt-up construction and trailer parking. It will also have a 60-foot staying bays with a minimum 130-foot truck court and a specialized sprinkler system.
"ProLogis is providing us a facility that fits seamlessly into our distribution network," says Dennis Sholl, executive director of Mack's parts distribution. "This new building will allow us to manage over45,000 parts and ship on average in excess of 350,000 pounds of product daily to destinations around the world. In addition, the Baltimore-Washington Corridor is key for our North American supply chain since it is an overnight drive to two-thirds of the United States."
