Bryn Mawr-Sheridan, LLC has proposed building a 24-unit complex with a landscaped courtyard. The site falls within the Bryn Mawr-Broadway Redevelopment Project Area.
The city approved plans in 1999 by Castlebar Enterprises 5500, LLC to build condominiums on the site, located across Sheridan Road from the historic Edgewater Beach hotel building, which has long since been converted to cooperative apartments. One of the original Castlebar partners left the group, resulting in the partnership evolving into Bryn Mawr-Sheridan, LLC.
The sale is contingent on the developers and department of planning and development reaching a redevelopment agreement for the site.
