The office opening has been done to put a staff close to one of its largest clients, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp., GlobeSt.com. "It's been done to facilitate BNSF's needs," says a company source, emphasizing it's not a large-scale operation. Staubach has assigned 35 employees to the site to handle the more than 10,000 active BNSF leases, contracts that entail several million sf nationwide. Staubach, founded in 1977 by football legend Roger Staubach, has clients in 41 countries and more than 150 cities worldwide. Its US offices number 40. It employees 1,000 workers in the Americas and 6,500 worldwide.
