This year, Bridge Development Partners is finishing a 70-acre business park in west suburban Bloomingdale and redevelopment of 125,000 sf of office space in north suburban Vernon Hills. In addition to building a 54,000-sf spec industrial facility in Elgin, the firm has another 500,000 sf of office and industrial space scheduled to be built this year in that city northwest of Chicago as well as the suburbs of Itasca and Woodridge.

The firm is one year old, but not very green. The partners are 30-year veteran Ronald T. Frain, co-founder and former chairman of Frain Camins & Swartchild, which has since been sold to Insignia/ESG; and Steven F. Poulos, whose 10 years of real estate experience includes a post as director of sales and leasing for the Pizzuti Cos.

"Bridge is off to a running start and we intend to continue our momentum towards becoming a large player in the office and industrial arena," Poulos says.
