Cityfeet.com Partners with NYTimes.com

NEW YORK CITY-An online Web site, Cityfeet.com, has struck a deal with New York Times Digital, the Internet division of the New York Times Co., to provide commercial real estate listings on the newspapers’ Web site: nytimes.com/cityfeet. In addition to listing office, retail and industrial space suitable for small businesses available from more than 1,000 companies, Cityfeet.com features local commercial real estate news and links to sites of interest to those who are moving to a new location.

Beginning in early June, listings from another site, boston.com, scheduled to launch in June, will include listings from the Boston Globe, a newspaper owned by the Times.

Property owners can post information about the space they have available for lease on Cityfeet.com including photographs, floor plans and the asking price. When prospective tenants input their requirements they receive a list of appropriate properties. Owners pay a monthly fee; visitors can browse without charge. Once the two parties have contacted each other in cyberspace, they negotiate between themselves; CityFeet.com does not act as a broker.
