Northwest San Antonio Retail Projects Plentiful

SAN ANTONIO-The intersection of State Loop 1604 and Blanco Road in San Antonio is well on its way to being fully developed with construction from four developers. The intersection is in the high-growth corridor of northwest San Antonio where 30% growth is expected in the next five years, drawing a high volume of retail development and activity.

Some development has been announced. Others are about to be announced. The biggest anticipated announcement is the signing of a lease by a large 160,000-sf home improvement warehouse on the southwest corner of the intersection in the Barshop & Oles development of The Village at Blanco. The Village at Blanco, which is already home to an H-E-B supermarket and a Jim’s Restaurant, is 95% leased as it moves into its second phase.
