"Walpole gives us access to many markets we are targeting," Brian Gallagher, director of marketing for the company, tells Globest.com. SPS does most of its business in Boston and surrounding towns, adds Gallagher. Walpole is about 30 minutes from Downtown Boston.
This is the company's first physical foray in the area, although it has been doing business here for the last two decades. "We are doing a significant amount of work here and we needed a local presence to serve our clients," notes Gallagher, who adds that the company hopes to eventually expand its facilities here. Currently, the company has a 3,000-sf office with six employees.
SPS has 20 operation centers across the country. The company has 820 employees and also owns and operates VStructural, LLC and Pullman Power.
