Firms Announce Promotions, New Hires

KANSAS CITY-Burns & McDonnell has announced promotions for four employees to associate vice president. Meanwhile, Junk Architects PC has hired three architects and two interior designers.

At Burns & McDonnell, Deborah Ballard is responsible for business development in the firm’s waste consultants division after serving as group manager of remediation services. Raymond Kowalik is responsible for complete project management, including engineering, procurement, construction management, contract administration and scheduling and coordination. J. David Langford now aviation services group manager for the waste consultants division, is responsible for environmental projects in the aviation industry. Randy Pope will be responsible for developing strategies to provide design services to industrial and aviation clients.
