Meritage Sets Stage for Office, Staff Expansion

AUSTIN-Meritage Technologies Inc. has its own plans for April 15. The six-year-old company will be moving into a full floor at Lost Creek Point at 1114 Lost Creek Blvd.

For the past 2 1/2 years, Meritage has had its regional headquarters at 302 Bowie in the CBD and a building off Wells Branch Road. The move brings a consolidation, but also an office space expansion for a planned staff increase, Kevin Bury, Meritage regional vice president, tells GlobeSt.com. The Austin office currently employs 45 people, but will have that number up to 80 by year’s end.

The staff increase will mean that the Austin office will be the largest of the IT consulting firm’s three regional headquarters and 12 offices nationwide. “The southwest is the fastest-growing region in the company,” says Bury.
