Pizzuti Cos. Hire President from Jacobs Group

CHICAGO-The Pizzuti Cos. will remain primarily an office and industrial real estate company even though they hired their new president and chief operating officer from retail developer The Jacobs Group. Thomas W. Henneberry is now at the helm of the Columbus, OH-based company, which has an office here.

Henneberry spent 28 years at Cleveland-based The Jacobs Group, where he oversaw development such as the mixed-use Society Center high-rise tower and the Cleveland Indians’ Jacobs Field. “We were looking for someone with strong values, well-developed leadership and managerial skills and vast experience in multi-city operations as well as large-scale mixed-use developments,” says Chairman and CEO Ron Pizzuti. “Tom shares our emphasis on hard work, high ideals and an entrepreneurial spirit. He brings with him a great deal of expertise and unique talent to our management team.”
