"This land acquisition represents a significant step in First Industrial's efforts to control land and expand its presence in the Indianapolis market," says Trammell Crow Co. vice president Andrew Morris, who represented First Industrial. "With the new interchange in place, they should have no problem turning this into a big win for their investment in the market."
Trammell Crow will exclusively market the property on behalf of the REIT, which has 84 million sf of industrial space in its portfolio.
The seller was the Estate of Ester Cunningham. Garth McClain of McClain, Cottingham, & Gilligan represented the estate.
