A company contact tells GlobeSt.com the firm has signed a 15-month lease for its corporate headquarters in part of Austin-based At Hand's two floors in the building. The source says Lane 15 had signed the pact realizing it might have to move should At Hand decide that the space is needed for its 2001 expansion. "We'll see in 15 months where they are," she says. But if a move is necessitated, it might not be far because there are two floors in the building that are being finished out, she tells GlobeSt.com.

Lane 15, which now employs 35 people, plans to double its staff this year. The added space now gives the company room for three test areas. "We were fortunate to secure this location as good real estate in Austin can be difficult to find," says Alisa Nessler, Lane 15's president and CEO.
