AMP employs 40 people at the moment, but is expanding with the expectation that it will be able to add at least 40 more employees over the next 12 months." Prices are reasonable in Livermore, which makes moves for companies like AMP advantageous," Mark Triska, the senior sales consultant at Colliers International who brokered the sale with colleague Ned Wood. "With companies like Cisco, KLA Tencor and Cybeq Systems locating in the Tri Valley, it made sense for AMP to move closer to the high-tech business parks."
There are other advantages as well, says Triska. "Livermore is providing many companies with the opportunity to purchase real estate," says Triska. "Those who do and relocate here are still in the bay area and are within minutes of the 5 Freeway Corridor and minutes for the central valley which is key in offering affording housing alternatives for employees."
