Irving, TX-based FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. has made three of the more significant promotions in the recent round of changes. Lawrence D. Robinson is now executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Lester C. Johnson is senior vice president, controller and principal accounting officer and Andrew J. Welch is senior vice president and treasurer.

Robinson has been with FelCor in a leading executive capacity since May 1996. Johnson had joined the company's executive team in September 1995 and Welch had come on board in July 1998, also in an executive role.

WorkPlace USA has hired David Snyder as senior vice president of sales. President John Amend tells GlobeSt.com that he has been courting Snyder for five years. Snyder had been employed by Constructors Inc. as vice president of sales.

"I think we've got the best guy in the country," Amend tells GlobeSt.com. Amend says Snyder's hire is critical to this year's plan, which is to beef up WorkPlace USA's marketing efforts by setting up a separate department in what is envisioned as a home run in the branding game. Snyder also will be tasked with recruiting and training new WorkPlace USA team members.

IA-Dallas, one of the region's most prominent architectural firms, has recently instituted the following management changes: Janna Connor, project manager; Leonor Evans-Sanchez, designer I; Aaron Howell, associate project manager; Holly North, designer III; Jeff Smith, job captain; and Shari Weber, associate business manager.

In other recent promotions, Jay A. Litt has been named senior vice president of resort operations for Wyndham International Inc. His duties involve overseeing the portfolio of luxury and upscale resorts. Litt previously had been senior vice president and chief procurement officer. He has more than 30 years' experience in the hospitality industry.

The Woodmont Co. has hired Pamela Rabin as a new associate. She is responsible for retail property marketing and tenant representation, including the leasing of the 100,000-sf Buckner Commons retail center in Dallas. She also has been assigned to a five-acre commercial development in Hurst.
