Moxie/Jack III LLC sold the 34,415-sf building, located at 1271 Avenida Chelsea at the northeast corner of Park Center Drive in Vista, to American Peptide, which will relocate its Sunnyvale, CA operation to the new facility in July. Japan-based American Peptide produces peptides for the biomedical industry.
Managing members of Moxie/Jack III LLC are Irwin Zahn, Tredwell F. Weeks III and Jerry B. Sarazin.
Sarazin, of Colliers International, represented the seller. Linda Greenberg of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the buyer.
The seller bought the two-acre property in January 2000 and developed the two-building project, which totals 64,481 sf. Construction was completed last month.
