GEN3 Partners Cuts 20 Employees

BOSTON-Yet another high tech company here falls victim to the recent economic downturn as GEN3 Partners goes on a restructuring effort that involves laying off 25 employees. The strategy consulting firm, laid off 20% of its workforce last September leaving it now, after this latest round, with 50 employees.

GEN3 has offices here as well as in San Francisco and New York City. According to vice president of marketing Mari Ryan, it is still unclear what will happen to the facilities here but the company is exploring various alternatives. “We are considering the options around the use of this facility,” she tells GlobeSt.com. Gen3′s corporate headquarters are located here in the heart of the city at 10 Post Office Square.
