Morris, a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, has more than 14 years' experience in hotel management, having spent several years at resort properties in the West, Northeast and Caribbean. At Sunriver, Morris will oversee all daily operations, including more than 500 visitors, nine dining and retail outlets and three championship golf courses.

Sunriver is also reporting this week it has received for the second consecutive year a four-diamond designation from the American Automobile Association. Sunriver is one of only two AAA four-diamond resorts in the state. The other, Salishan, is located on the Oregon coast.

Sunriver is managed by Destination Hotels and Resorts, a manager of independent luxury hotels and resorts throughout the United States.
