Target Postpones Openings of 3 Stores

MINNEAPOLIS-The discount retailer will open 40 new stores in October. However, construction delays postpones openings in Montgomery Park, CA; Watchung, NJ; and Ithaca, NY.

A new schedule wasn't disclosed. The company now plans to open 40 stores in October in 22 states; 11 of the new stores will be SuperTargets, the retailer's supermarket-discount hybrid. Six sites were added to the October list this week: Enfield, CT; Hackensack, NJ; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Orlando, FL; and Worcester, MA.
