This time, it's Arlington and Southlake, where twin 148,000-sf retail sites will open doors April 27. In fall 2000, dual openings had been held in Plano and Ft. Worth. Each location will employ 200 people.
The Arbrook Boulevard store in Arlington is Costco's third Texas location while Southlake, located at 2601 E. Texas 114, holds the fourth slot for the nationwide discount retailer. In all, there are 257 Costco locations in the US and 100 more in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. Costco, based in Issaquah, WA is a pioneer and leader in the $60-billion membership warehouse industry.
